We had hoped to go to Tehachapi and retrieve some of the old iron up there. The weather has been rainy and wet, so looks like that probably won’t happen. The retrieval fun will get postponed until a later weekend.
For this weekend, hope to work on the D6C, maybe finish installing the rebuilt water pump, radiator, belts, fan and plumbing.
I may get some grader and D4 practice, trying to drain the swamps around the yard from all the rain and poor grading I had previously done.
The 966 fuel pump is in town at the shop. Hopefully we’ll have it back within a week or so. We’ll be out at the Garlic Shop all weekend. Come on out if you’re around the area. (661) 343-3691.
