Saturday Service - It’s the weekend, so it’s time to get out and service your equipment. This week we’re taking some maintenance information from the old comic book style maintenance guides that Caterpillar used to publish (these things are cool). Focused on all those wear adjustments that you have on an old “knuckle buster” style Cat grader.
Know give this a read and go inspect your grader, I bet some adjustments are in order.

Nathan....I am wondering if some of the principles of adjustments can be applied to pull grades. I just guessed at the adjustments on my Cat No3 HiWay Patrol.
Have a good day.....Bill

Hi Bill
aside from the power control stuff I suspect it would be very similar yes.  The “business end” of the grader didn’t change very much over the years.
thanks Nathan
