What is the story? How did you get it? Do you know its history?

I found the 25 out in Idaho about 18 years ago. It had been used on a farm and was sitting in a barn. All the hard to find parts were there but it was very tired and the tracks were completely worn out. I found a good set of rails down in Kansas. The pads came from a gas 35.

Keep up the good work.  It’s not easy finding parts for these 25’s.  I’m going to have to go on the hunt for a
rad core and possibly a clutch for mine.  Any idea where I might find those?

I bought most of a Caterpillar 20 for parts locally. Almost everything is the same on a Cat 20 and 25. The best part was the parts 20 was only about 10 miles away!
