I love those old comic book instructionals. I wonder how much more effective instructions and directions would be today if they were still in this format.

But then I wouldn't have a job Pete, the comic books have been substituted for real on-site instructors.  I do agree that these are perhaps some of the coolest books ever!  I would love to see images taken from the works of them to create a coloring book for kids someday.  I have referenced these books for instructional purposes even when training on brand new equipment, the principals have not changes, just the equipment has.
