Yellow Power Chapter Formation

I have received THE letter from ACMOC to all chapter presidents and chapters.  I was advised yesterday to look for it and I am amazed of the hours and pages and lawyers involved to make a fun and valuable club and resource center to become cumbersome and unwelcoming.
The direction that club is heading may have to go without my support.
What can be done to form a chapter within YPCC?
Our ACMOC chapter members have shown interest in YPCC as dual membership, but that won't happen now.

Let me correct a few things: I believe you are President of ACMOC Chapter 31, Chapter 31 was set up from the start as a contract chapter. This means that your chapter has already done all the things that are outlined in the ACMOC communication to subsidiary chapters. Clearly, it must not have been too difficult or "cumbersome and unwelcoming" since that is how your chapter chose to get started. It at least was appealing to someone in your chapter. To be very clear, this means that you and your chapter don't have to do anything at all, nothing, you're good to go.

Also, this is the very reason that the communication was not sent to you directly, you don't need to do anything and chapter 31 is already a contract chapter.  If these changes would have affected chapter 31 you would have gotten a communication directly from me.

Yes, there were a lot of hours involved by the volunteer ACMOC board, but no, there were not a lot of lawyers. 

Be sure to let your chapter members know that you are set, nothing to do, nothing to worry about, nothing changed for you. And let them know that ACMOC is getting all chapters set up exactly the way chapter 31 did, nothing more.

So, why are you upset? This does not affect your chapter.

You are correct in saying that it is a "fun and valuable club and resource center", still is, and the good news is nothing at all has changed for you!
